Public registerEvidence graded A–XRight of reply
Every scam leaves a paper trail.
USA Scammers documents fraud and scam matters connected to the United States — using court filings, regulator orders, public registries and evidence we can verify. We publish what the record shows, label how strong it is, and let everyone named answer back.

Dossiers, reports and investigations, each tied to identifiable sources.
States and countries whose courts, agencies or records feature in a published matter.
Court filings, agency orders, registry extracts and other documents a reader can check.
A fixed vocabulary that keeps allegations, proceedings and findings apart.
§01Latest on the register
Newly published and updated records
The first records are being checked.
Each file is verified against its sources, reviewed, and sent to the people named for their reply before it appears here.
How a record is made →§02The evidence scale
We grade the evidence. Never the person.
An accusation is not a finding, and a lawsuit is not a judgment. Every record carries a grade that says how far the evidence goes — and only that far.
Grades move when the record moves. Nobody can pay to change one.
Read the evidence standards →- A
Adjudicated
A court, regulator or other competent authority has decided the matter.
- B
Proceeding
Charges, a lawsuit or a formal investigation are under way. Nothing has been decided.
- C
Documented allegation
Credible, identifiable sources make the claim. No authority has ruled on it.
- D
Documented indicator
A verified fact or pattern worth knowing. It does not, by itself, show wrongdoing.
- X
Cleared, Reversed or Resolved
Acquitted, dismissed, withdrawn, overturned or settled without a finding. Kept on file and marked.
§03Anatomy of a record
Nothing goes on the register without a document behind it.
- Evidence status
- Each material point is labelled: found by an authority, under way in a court or agency, alleged by a credible source, or a verified fact.
- Claims kept apart from findings
- What someone says happened is never written as what was proved.
- Numbered sources
- Every citation names the document, who issued it and when. Readers can follow [S-01], [S-02] to the source list.
- A reply before we publish
- The people and companies named get the findings and a fair window to respond. Material replies appear on the record.

§05Restricted research tool
The Scanner.
The Scanner is our in-house research system. It pulls identity, company, court, ownership and regulatory records about the people and businesses we document into one place, so investigators can test a lead quickly and see what the record does not show.
Access is limited to verified law-enforcement and government staff and legal professionals, and every request is reviewed.
§06From tip to record
Five stages before anything is published.
- 1
Research
Investigators work through open sources and public records — and, where it is justified, make inquiries in person — to establish who and what is involved.
- 2
Evidence file
Court papers, company filings, agency material, interviews and other documents are collected, checked for authenticity and organised into one file.
- 3
Legal review
Where a matter calls for it, lawyers review the evidence and the proposed wording before publication, including in the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia.
- 4
Editorial review
A writer works from the verified file only. Editors cut anything the evidence does not support and check every grade.
- 5
Publication & upkeep
The record goes live with its sources, grades and the subject's reply. New developments, corrections and fresh evidence are added as they arrive.
§07Who relies on it
Built for people who cannot afford to get it wrong.
“If a sentence only holds up because the reader misunderstands it, the sentence is wrong.”

A record can’t be bought, buried or rewritten.
We do not take money, favours or anything else to hide, remove or soften a record. A record changes only when verified evidence or a real development in the case gives us a reason.

Common questions
What is USA Scammers?
USA Scammers is a public-interest register. It documents people, businesses and legal matters linked to scams and fraud using court records, regulator material, official filings and other sources a reader can check.
If someone is listed here, does that mean they are a scammer?
No. Being named in a record is not a finding of guilt. Each record says plainly whether it concerns an allegation, an open case, a regulatory action or a final decision, and is graded accordingly.
How is information checked before it goes live?
Records are built from identifiable sources. The documents are reviewed, every material claim is checked against them, and the people named are asked to respond.
Can a person or company named in a record respond?
Yes. They are offered a chance to respond to the material findings before publication, and can respond at any time afterwards. Relevant responses become part of the record.
How do I get something corrected?
Send us the statement you dispute and the evidence or legal documents that show it is wrong. Valid corrections are made and logged under our corrections policy.
Can anyone pay to have a record removed?
No. We do not accept payment, favours or any other consideration to remove, hide or change a record. Changes follow evidence, not money.
